BackShape is a supplementary back support for seats, to relieve back pain. It uses a special polymer foam cut by computer to a scientifically developed shape. It's been tested with back pain sufferers, and proved to be effective.

Adjusts the shape of seats to reduce stress in the spine when sitting

Proven to reduce back pain

Comfortable, so you'll keep using it

LIFETIME money-back GUARANTEE for comfort and effectiveness

  The back support profile

  • was scientifically designed using PeopleSize 2000.
  • accurately matches the shape of the spine.
  • engages a much larger surface area than other lumbar pads, allowing a softer foam to be used.
  • reduces uncomfortable pressures on the skin.

The comfort

  • prevents the most common problem with lumbar pads - that they are discarded after a few minutes' use because they are too uncomfortable.

How it works...

The special foam core has exceptionally high polymer density but low hardness - so it's soft on the surface but gives progressively more support as you compress it

(hover for detail), so

  • your bony protrusions, clothing folds, belt loops and belts sink in without creating uncomfortable pressure peaks,
  • but over the whole area it gives deep support to control the shape of the spine.

In tests with independent volunteers

  • the BackShape lumbar support reduced daily back pain by 44% on average
  • half the test volunteers reported back pain reduced by 80% or more
  • the benefits accumulated giving less pain day by day click here...

Effective on most vehicle, public and office seats...

The attachment system uses soft but strong woven polypropylene straps (not flimsy elastic), with a buckle adjuster, and works with all kinds of seats.  In cars and trucks it uses the head restraint pillars to give positive vertical location, so it stays in place and doesn't flop down when you take your weight off it.  It even clings to seats when straps can't be used. The support conforms to any lateral shape of seat-back.

  Comfort and Suitability Guarantee

If you find that BackShape does not work for you/your chair, you can return it for a full refund

You do not have to justify the return, just include the straps and confirm in a note that you read the instructions and did not fit it at the bottom of the seat-back. This guarantee is for an indefinite period, the back support must just be undamaged. Also for administrative reasons a refund can only be made to the same card that was used to buy.

  Quality Guarantee

The BackShape back support is well made. The foam core is of ultra high quality, very long-lasting, and the polypropylene straps are almost unbreakable and attached to a fastening strip across the back - this forms a continuous loop that does not load the seams, and so cannot distort the fabric or tear out.

If a manufacturing defect occurs and you return the support to the address below, within 12 months of purchase, with proof of purchase date, your money will be refunded. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
